The Beldanga municipality of Murshidabad has set an example with such an initiative. The Sulabh Annasathi Yojana was a new feather in the crown of the municipality.
There were financial adversities. But there was also goodwill. While other municipalities are reluctant to implement their own projects, the Beldanga Municipality Affordable Food Scheme in Murshidabad, inspired by the Chief Minister, is a surprising exception. The scheme was launched only seven months ago. Less work. But income and satisfaction.
